TARGET TED 2013 // At the Long Beach Convention Center, we created a social space at the TED conference where guests could connect, engage, and relax. Inspired by brainwaves – the measure of brain activity and creativity – the theme of the space featured undulating "wave" seating, allowing guests to lay down while watching TED speeches that were simulcast on an overhead screen. Fun engagements like a brain monitor, kept guests coming back day after day to engage with the space and the brand. Playing into the theme of "The Young, The Wise, The Undiscovered," the space featured hidden drawers filled with Target-affiliated products, like snacks and puzzles, that rewarded guests for their curiosity.
